I don't know about the official nomenclature, so, I can't tell the difference between "audio backend volume" and "local volume control". But whatever happens: It looks wrong to me! Audacious has a different slider than pw-play in pavucontrol. Still, altering audacious' volume also alters the volume of pw-play and that's not what I want… Greets!
