Wellllllllllllllllll, definitely not too soon. Can't imagine how it
could be improved, although I seem to recall a spot or two on first
listen where it seemed like the flute (?) was maybe being overpowered a
bit too much by the strings and electronica too much? Just listened
through it again and didn't get the same feeling, so maybe I'm just used
to it now?

No, sorry, listening to it now, it's where the main theme is in a
synthesized instrument.

Regardless of the nature of Ritual Notes - who is undoubtedly one of the
great instrumentalists with the great fortune to be a friend, and a
delightful person suitable for of our One And Only Legendary Jeannete -
I loved the composition. I loved the way it combined Baroque and a touch
of electronica style and instruments. A nice feel of development to the
theme/melody across the piece.

Part of it is probably due to my piano instructor training me in Baroque
style improvisation. I think the world needs more Baroque improvisation!

The feeling of the strings reminds me of old martial arts movies or
such. Probably just my bad taste in music coming through.

Ritual Notes playing sounds just beautiful. How were they recorded?

What's behind the name?

I have a piece involving an odd key combining D Major and Eb Major, a
flanged pad, and a violin. I talked with a friend about possibly
recording the violin track, but she decided it was beyond her skill. The
combination of the two keys, I guess, made the fingering difficult?

Anyway, thank you for your beautiful and original music!
