Ok, that was a general offer of help / testing, and probably the worst
email I have written in a long time,

The guy who has the document I want is called Allen Parker, who was very
eager but has now disappeared.

The document is:

"SPARC RISC User's Guide -HyperSPARC Edition" by ROSS.

I would like to make a start on this but its something that was shelved
for a while.
