Compiling a 2.2.15 linux kernel (for use on hyperSPARC cpu systems)

I'd like to see a 2.2.x kernel available for Aurora SPARC Linux... due
to it supposedly being able to run on hyperSPARC CPU systems...

Eventually, I'd like to see the current 2.4.x released kernels being
able to run it well, maybe even in the 2.5.x or thereafter coming
kernels... :-) But, maybe this is more of an issue for the sparclinux
list rather than the auroroa-linux-devel list. Don't know what
happened to the hyperSPARC Linux list :-(

If anyone else has done a 2.2.x kernel for aurora 1.0, I'd be very
pleased to use that as a staring point, just a .config for a 2.2.x
kernel would be fine.

Hmm, what about Debian these days? Do they have a 2.2.x kernel for
SPARC? How would I extract their .config??

If there's no kernel available, I'll attempt to firstly build a 2.2.15
linux-sparc kernel... suggestions of .config is welcome :-)

Then, with a little help of my friends here (there are, right?) I'd do
an src.rpm/sparc.rpm of it and make it available to others.

So, if anyone got a helping hand, pls let me know. I just wish I had
some more spare time left over to this hobby project of mine :-)
