Hi Peter,

My apologies about this. It was really my mistake to think that my DVD-ROM
was OK even though playing DVD's through ogle sometimes produced initial
scsi read errors which I attributed -at that time- to the software and not
the hardware... If it worth noting that the DDS4 on the same bus also had
SCSI problems and often ended up in reducing sync rate and dropping to
async speed (now that makes sense, doesn't it?).

I'll try to boot aurora at the console over the week-end If I get the
time. Thanks for everything. :)
