Have you replaced the netstg1-32.img with a "fresh" download of it? Does the
netstg1-32.img boot other NON hypersparc sparc32s reliably? Could be a
corrupted image... when it's saying /dev/loop0 not found... umm, wow, maybe
you'll have to get Tom to enlighten you on how to make your own images for
netboot :-p

Subject: [Aurora-sparc-devel] Netbooting A hypersparc SS20 Failing with

I am trying to boot my hypersparc SMP machine to do some work on the
kernel to try to get it working (should be fun but I don't rate my
chances..)
However I can't even get the distro on the system.

Install is via serial cable to an ultra 5 shoting the image:

Install successful up to:

Retrieving RedHat/base/netstg1-32.img...

and then it bombs with:

Error /dev/loop0 on /mnt/runtime (No such device)

Any thoughts?

Mat
