Hrm :( spot? Any ideas? It seems to me that it's either a problem with devfs
or /dev not being configured correctly and/or perhaps a problem with the
kernel configuration being used. It *could* be caused by the hypersparc
itself. Do you have any non-hypersparc processors available to test with?

I should note that that was the netstg-1.img from auroralinux.org as
after I use the kernel tftp32.img I tell it to do a ftp download from
auroralinux.org
