problems upgrading to corona's glibc on Ultra1 sparc

While trying to upgrade the glibc installed on my (ansel) aurora, I
had a problem with rom, it seg faults trying to install, or remove
packages... trying to go back to 2.2.5 gives me the same seg fault (I
guess)...

Any ideas on what I should do? Apart from install from scratch... :(
