Problems with AXi board

Hi all,

I just acquired a Tatung U10S [0], which is a Sun SparcEngince AXi based
Sparc box. I've replaced the 333MHz CPU with a 400MHz from one of my U5s
and brought the memory up to 512MB. Also, I replaced the ATI 3D Charger
frame buffer card with a Raptor GFX8P I still had and added another SCSI
controller (generic syn53c810, I need a narrow connection for my
scanner) and a USB card (just to experiment a bit).
I've also added a 4.3GB IBM DCAS drive (Fast wide SCSI). The box already
had a 32x Plextor CD-ROM and an Exabyte EXB-8xxx tape, both connected
via 68<->50 adapters. The DCAS is at the end of the chain and terminates
it.
On the external SCSI connector, I've added a 18GB HP U2W drive in a Sun 611
box.

I've installed Aurora 1.0 on the DCAS, as I want to use that installtion
as base to copy the full installation from my U5 to the external 18GB
drive (which is supposed to become the main drive). The install went
fine, however, now I'm having a few minor problems:

I've got the following error message a couple of times:

SABRE0: Uncorrectable Error, primary error type[DMA Read:Translation Error]
SABRE0: bytemask[ff00] dword_offset[3] was_block(1)
SABRE0: UE AFAR [0000000000a83b58]
SABRE0: UE Secondary errors [(none)]
SABRE0: IOMMU Error, type[Invalid Error]
SABRE0: IOMMU TAG(14)[RAW(0000000000c6076b)error(Invalid Error)wr(0)sz(8K)vpg(c0ed6000)]
SABRE0: IOMMU DATA(14)[RAW(000000006fe00000)valid(1)used(1)cache(0)ppg(0000000000000000)

The machine kept running fine even after that message. Does anybody have
an idea what's going on there?

Also, I noticed that the external drive is not run as a UW drive, but
just as "fast, wide". Excerpt from dmesg:

I know it's a U2W drive and was recognized as such by an Adaptec 2940U2W
controller on my x86 box, so the above is not what I hoped to see...
Again, any insight appreciated!

Thanks,

Thomas
