I got aurora 1.0 going on 2 ultra 10s, now I'm upgrading some packages. I'm installing mysql from the src rpm from redhat9, and it creates everything fine, no problems, but for some reason the transform name option is turned on, so the binaries all have sparcv9-redhat-linux- prefixed. I'm not sure how to turn that off. Also another problem. I'm compiling a file that is using ld to link: ld -shared -o installwatch.so installwatch.o -ldl -lc But it keeps saying: ld: warning: sparc:architecture of input file `installwatch.o' is incompatible with sparc:v9 output What option do I give to ld to make it link with sparcv9? thanks _______________________________________________ Aurora-sparc-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.auroralinux.org/mailman/listinfo/aurora-sparc-devel Aurora FAQ: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~mas01r/aurorafaq.html
