This is more than a suspicion. I've got a fix from DaveM for this one,
I'm actually waiting for another -rc to come out from Linus instead of
spinning it into a custom patch, so that I can continue to use Arjan's
base kernels. (the fix is in BK).

If you can't wait for the new kernel packages, recode it to use poll. :)
