stupid question

Ok, this may be a stupid question.

Does anyone know how to turn off that damn cdrom "open window" thingy?

aurora doesn't seem to use magicdev, nor does it have a 
Foot->Programs->Settings->Peripherals->CD Properties control panel.

All my googling basically suggested uninstall of magicdev (don't have it) 
or turn off some properties in the CD-Properties control panel, and Aurora 
doesn't have that either.
