RPM 4.4 on SPARC

Squirrelmail is being squirrely with me, so rather than a reply this is a
new message. Sorry to break threads. The version of Squirrelmail I'm
running here (on Tangerine) occassionally gets into a mode where you can
compose a new message, but you cannot reply to a message. Anyway:

To answer Jeff's query, the upgrade to rpm 4.4 can't be done by hand; yum
has to do it, and you have to reboot into the new kernel afterwards
(selinux and NPTL combined issues moving from rpm 4.3.2 to 4.4.1). I only
mentioned it because I wasted a couple of hours chasing my tail after
thinking that a hand upgrade of rpm might help solve the glibc issue I was
seeing, but it wasn't rpm's fault. But I had to fix the mess...

Jeff, rpm itself runs fine on sparc; version 4.4 just doesn't run so well
on the 1.92 install (again, NPTL and libselinux versions).
