I am still trying to nail down what is causing this. But I've had it happen on 3 machines now. How to reproduce? Install Aurora 2.0. Perform a "yum update". Reboot. On three different systems now (E250, Ultra 5, Ultra 1) the result was that sshd did not start, and "chkconfig --list sshd" provided the startling response that sshd was not registered with chkconfig. If I do a "chkconfig --add sshd && service sshd start" it works fine. Note on all three of these systems I am sure that sshd was running before the reboot. On the most recent attempt I did just a "yum update openssh" and then "chkconfig --list sshd" but nothing was amiss. I went ahead and did the "yum update" and didn't think to "chkconfig --list sshd" until I brought it back up and couldn't ssh in. _______________________________________________ Aurora-sparc-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.auroralinux.org/mailman/listinfo/aurora-sparc-devel Aurora FAQ: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~mas01r/aurorafaq.html
