Let me repeat what I've been saying for a while now:

I'm not working on 2.98. I haven't been for more than a year now. I'm
working on 3.0, which is represented by corona until 3.0 is a finalized
release.

The 3.0 kernel and environment doesn't have any of the problems that
you're seeing with 2.98. Several of the issues are things that I've
fixed explicitly as a result of what you've pointed out.

I do care about security, but I have no obligation (nor interest) in
going back and making minor fixes in a beta tree, especially when I've
already fixed them in the "development" tree.
