What *is* the biggest drive tested by folks here with U5/U10 hardware?  
I've only gone to 40G,  but with good success.  It's also a nice 
performance bump over the stock 9GB drive so for that reason alone it 
is worth the upgrade.  Sadly the machine can't take the HDD to its full 
performance capabilities, but at least the drive itself is no longer 
the bottleneck.
