Couple of installation questions...

Hi all,
I finally got my U5/400 exchanged against a working specimen (got a
20GB drive instead of the 9GB in the process... :-) ), so I'm running
my first Aurora 1.0 install right now (my SS20 "only" got an upgrade).
I came across a few oddities/questions:
- In text mode, all "graphics" are drawn in ASCII chars, which looks
very weird. I've seen it that way once when I tried to install via
serial console ages ago, but never on the actual console. It's quite
different from the "red/blue curses based" graphics I'm used to from
RHL 7.3/i386 and I'm pretty certain I've seen similar curses based
graphics on Sparc before as well - has there been a change
somewhere? All I did was 'boot cdrom', then enter 'text<return>'
- I selected "Custom Install" - I never got asked for the network
settings, which strikes me as odd. Under RHL7.3/i386, I'm definitely
getting asked to set up the network when installing "custom", and
again, I *think* I've seen the same behaviour on Sparc at some
point.
- I'm missing 'gv' - did I just fail to see it or has it been removed?
If the latter: What is supposed to be a replacement as a postscript
viewer?
Cheerio,
Thomas
