Porting RedHat's SRPMS for Aurora (Flame On...)

This is something I have always wanted to attempt so I'll just go ahead and
ask:  Does anyone feel like giving me the short and dirty on porting the
SRPMS from RedHat's Errata listing (I'm specifically interested in the new
SendMail package) over to Aurora?  Please feel free to set me on fire, I'm
obviously just being lazy instead of researching.  I'd really like to get
involved in helping with packing up new security fixes since I have nothing
better to do currently (Thanks, Enron.)
