Hey matthew, do you know how much it might cost to "post"/mail a full-on page-by-page copy of the Ross HyperSPARC manual I've got? If you can tell me what you're interested in, I can try to concentrate on that... I've been having TONS of issues lately with other things and have been too tied up to give it much thought/work. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Matthew Swabey Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2003 12:33 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [aurora-sparc-devel] Re: hypersparc Wow! I did once cover the reasons for why the 170MHz SS5 doesn't/never did work on linux in a previous post but the gist of it is its a completely new processor, a derivative made by fujitsu, and linux has never been ported to run on it. Its SPARC v8 compatible which is why it sometimes boots.
