Hey matthew, do you know how much it might cost to "post"/mail a full-on
page-by-page copy of the Ross HyperSPARC manual I've got? If you can
tell me what you're interested in, I can try to concentrate on that...
I've been having TONS of issues lately with other things and have been
too tied up to give it much thought/work.

I forgot to send this to the list but the gentoo page is a word for word
copy from the FAQ on the Ultralinux website, which is outdated.

I did once cover the reasons for why the 170MHz SS5 doesn't/never did
work on linux in a previous post but the gist of it is its a completely
new processor, a derivative made by fujitsu, and linux has never been
ported to run on it.  Its SPARC v8 compatible which is why it sometimes
boots.
