brief status

Aurora's not dead! Now that we have that out of the way, I'd just like to 
apologize for the slow pace of things lately. Most of my personal 
belongings (including a metric ton of sparc32s) are just now coming out of 
boxes, and I won't have broadband internet until April 3rd.

So, in a little over a week, I should be in a position to start putting 
time into Aurora work. Unless anyone has any objections, I'm going to skip 
8.0 and port to RHL 9. Dave Miller has already offered to do the kernel 
work for NPTL, and the same problems we would have with 8.0 will be 
present on 9 (OpenOffice.org, all redhat-config-* tools).

I'd like to be able to do the work in a more direct format, similar to Red 
Hat's rawhide tree, so that it is visible to people besides me (and 
Peter). Suggestions on the name of the tree are welcome.

Also, I know there are a lot of packages in the "to-be-signed by spot" 
queue for the security errata, I'd just ask you all to be patient with me. 
If you cannot wait, the unsigned packages are available. (the box with the 
private key is underneath about 4 other sparcs at the moment)
