 I've heard rumor that you can replace Ultra 5/10 power supplies with
standard PC ATX power supplies either with no changes or a single change
[to bring a 12V line to 5V. That is split the existing line]. I know the
motherboard has a standard ATX connector.

I've seen this posted before in comp.sys.sun.hardware if you want to dig
through google. If it is true it would be a great thing to be able to
do.
