Did you install with ide=nodma option?
boot cdrom ide=nodma
The FAQ also suggests burning the CD at 4X or lower although I did not
have a problem with that on my Ultra 10.
As suggested by someone else if you tell us exactly what you did to
install and what happened then we can make better suggestions about what to
do.
