Hi all,

Just wondering,
What is the state om (any) ham-radio software on aurora?

If one wants to do packet radio (ax.25) on an Intel machine, one needs a
TNC or pci-board with a SCC chip on it.
If i remember correctly, atleast the old 4m machines are equiped with a
Z8530 chip as they are all capable of doing OSI X.25 (on Sun-OS anyway).
I'm not sure if Ultra-1 or Ultra-2 were also euiped with the scc.

If so (and ax.25 software is available on aurora) i only need to look
for a highspeed modem...

Kind regards,
Hans (PE1-CXJ)
