  I've happily run Aurora Linux 1.0 and 2.0 on an Ultra 5.  The biggest 
problem with the U5 is that the IDE controller, like on all IDE-based 
SPARCs, sucks.  Boot with "ide=nodma".  Not a huge deal.
  Many others have used Ultra 10's, which are essentially the same machine 
(same board, different case).  Any advice regarding them pretty well 
applies to yours, as well.
