Some time ago I upgraded my Ultra5 to v1.92 but now it would appear that yum no longer works. One of the commands I have tried is as follows: yum check-update and I get the following error message(s): Setting up Repo: base http://aurora.fedoramirror.net/pub/aurora/build-1.92/sparc/os/Fedora/RPMS/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found Trying other mirror. Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: base failure: repodata/repomd.xml from base: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. I am assuming that I need to change the baseurl statement in the base section as the URL 'http://aurora.fedoramirror.net/pub/aurora/build-$releasever/sparc/os/Fed ora/RPMS ' no longer exists due the the env. variable '$releasever' now is set to 1.92 and this directory does not seem to exist; nor on any of the mirrors that I have checked. Any ideas? Do I just set it to the same as the baseurl variable under the 'updates-released' section? _______________________________________________ Aurora-sparc-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.auroralinux.org/mailman/listinfo/aurora-sparc-user Aurora FAQ: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~mas01r/aurorafaq.html
