I tried doing a cross-platform compile a while back, but I had no luck.  If you can get that working, you would be a hero for many :)

corona currently has gcj and tomcat  not sure if it would meet your needs.  I 
have started making headway on getting things in place for building OpenJDK.  
Right now im building up fedora 7's glibc and gcc so that i can bootstrap 
OpenJDK.
