Check out quicktables (don't have the URL at the moment). About 2 years ago I was using my Ultra 5 for just that purpose. Its a shell script that sets up iptables for you - very nice and very easy to run...it will prompt you for various things about your network (like port forwarding from the outside in, firewall rules, etc).
