Maybe. With SMP? Good luck. Due to compatibility issues between > sparc32 SMP and 2.6 kernels, it hasn't really been supported since Aurora > 1.0 (which had a 2.4 kernel). It has to be said that I had Aurora 1.0 running flawlessly on my SS20 (SMP) for a looong time. IIRC, there were some issues with Samba in the early days, but they were solved along the way. Unfortunately I had a HDD failure in the SS20 (after a power outage) and that combined with having a U1 handed to me resulted in a SS20 that is sitting cold and quiet on a shelf these days. It depends on what you want to use the SS20 for. Maybe Aurora 1.0 is just what you need..? -- Torbjørn Heltne _______________________________________________ Aurora-sparc-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.auroralinux.org/mailman/listinfo/aurora-sparc-user Aurora FAQ: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~mas01r/aurorafaq.html
