Hello there, I am trying to install aurora linux build 2,99 on my U 10. The OBP has been upgraded to 3,31. I get past the booting screen until the point where it asks me from where would I like to install the distro on which I select CDROM. Then something unusual happens. It gives the following error message: *Unable to find any device of the type needed for this installation type.* *Would you like to manually select your driver or use a driver disk.* ** Has it been unable to detect my CDROM? When I select the manual option, i see a list which does not look like the list of CDROM manufacturers. Rather it looks more like the list of Video card drivers. And one last piece of information, I am using a text based installer. Would love to hear from you guys, Aijaz Baig. _______________________________________________ Aurora-sparc-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.auroralinux.org/mailman/listinfo/aurora-sparc-user Aurora FAQ: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~mas01r/aurorafaq.html
