It's a closed-source program that is quite expensive for the full version 
($2000).  I don't think that LA grant money should go towards anything related 
to running proprietary software on Linux.

Again that's a proprietary program.

The Debian package "dia" has fulfilled all my diagram needs, but I don't do 
that much with diagrams.  Does anyone have suggestions for other free diagram 
programs?
