Bringing it under one umbrella would help with discoverability and reach. Years ago I tried to run a rural LUG and only got 3-4 people attending due to the low population and it was difficult to sustain as people had conflicts with work and other activities. IRL meetings are great also difficult to attend for many people even before Covid. Adelaide with a population of 1.3million had LinuxSA fell off the Internet last year.
