I first saw a comment about this on the Fediverse today/yesterday. I'm surprised this hasn't been raised earlier. Looking back in the mail archives for linux-aus@ and announce@ I see nothing that indicates there is a lack of teams submitting proposals. But, I'm also surprised that the only call for proposals for running these conferences is from April 2023[0]. And that was asking for proposals for the '24 and '25 conferences, no mention of '26. Surely some follow ups, prompts, etc, would be in order?
