It's been around many years, not really used=2E=2E=2E A FB group for the Ne=
w Zealand Linux and Open Source community:

<https://facebook=2Ecom/groups/35702173285/>

Using Facebook for this sort of thing was kinda contra-indicated, there ha=
ve been many other places for true enthusiasts to support each other, even =
today FB is fine for a subswt of 'the mainstream' but doesn't resonate with=
 geeks who would prefer to use discord, or reddit, or anything that doesn't=
 mean they have to use Facebook=2E

I administer several FB communities and pages for organisations that reall=
y don't work anywhere else, so it's quite begrudging=2E Not sure about the=
 ROI even promotionally, but happy to see my group leveraged if it helps=2E

(Oh and my mailman instance blew up some time ago, so I can't even plug th=
e NZLUG mailing list which I formerly hosted; the demand just isn't there r=
elative to the learning curve I'd have to try to resolve (or bribe my more =
advanced friends to help me resolve, realistically)=2E)
