Hi, I've been a long-time LUV member and I always assumed Linux Victoria to be a separate organization. If this is a rename of the same organization, then I don't remember seeing any announcement of the rename on the main list or the main luv.asn.au website. I visited the Linux Victoria website when I was first made aware of it, but I couldn't attend any of their events as the address/time were behind meetup.com's login wall with a broken Google CAPTCHA. I think Linux Victoria is a de facto fork of LUV with a different philosophy and practices I don't agree with, like the reliance on Telegram/meetup.com and the previous handling of members' addresses. I'm also not aware that any LUV electrion has occured. Yifei.
