+1 from me (to both the original and Russell's extension)

*and* ..

If approved, I wonder how the value of the Grant could be amplified via
Media & Comms, such as through a press release and social media campaign
along the lines of "millions of Australians need to use MyGov to access
services, but how secure is it really? Help us find out.", "Your tax
dollars spent on MyGov code, you should have a right to see it" - or
similar, there's many angles here around transparency, accountability
and so on, and it would need to be carefully done to not undermine the
legal process - would be guided by Fraser on what's appropriate.

From a process point of view, if LA Council approved the Grant then
that would effectively "engage" Media & Comms - currently the FoI review
crowd-funding is not associated or supported by LA so I have been
hesitant to share it on social media from LA accounts.

Kind regards,

Kathy Reid (aka the Media & Comms subcommittee)
