In simple terms, it don't work!  This applies for email, browser(s),
 Lynx, and any applications that want/need to access the internet, except
 for PING! PING works, on Internet URL's!  And this is your latest version!

The keyboard gets disconnected while bootup occurs.  The last time, it required five times to shut off/on the computer and restart again, before the keyboard would stay connected, and usable, when bootup just completed.
The applications that need to get on the internet, simply bomb out waiting to make a connection (timed out).  I have no problems like this with other applications, such as Mandrake, Windows, etc. .
Below, is what you requested to see what is causing this problem.

The other applications just time out, without giving any reason.  No activity can be generated to gain access to the internet, except for the PING function, which will work locally and on the internet URL's.

The application cannot find /dev/sda on the firewire port (ieee1394, ohci1394)
