bug#393: BBC 2.1 Won't Boot

Hello Lnx-BBC:
 
With the following system, configurations:  

    System                           CD Unit
IBM ThinkPad 365XD     Teac CD-44E     Firmware 2.0C
DeskTop Box            Hitachi 7930    Firmware 1023
  
 The LNX-BBC of 2003-05-02 WILL NOT BOOT on either system!
 
  Although the CD was FIRST in the boot list, there were
NO
error messages and the systems went on to boot Windoze 95.

  SuSe 8.0 disk 1 can be seen by BOTH systems under
Windoze 95.

  The LNX-BBC CD of 2003-05-02 is NOT seen by either
system
under Windoze 95.
  
  This is the same LNX-BBC CD of 2003-05-02 which I boot
and
use frequently on my IBM ThinkPad A22M.
  
 I hope that you have a go-around, solution or fix for me.
