Other people who have used the "BSD" license (and have LICENSE = BSD in the gar Makefiles) have nonetheless included their own copyright notices on their own work -- which is appropriate. That means that the actual text of the license of a "BSD-licensed" work varies importantly from work to work, and they probably can't all use the same license text! -- Seth David Schoen <[email protected]> | Reading is a right, not a feature! http://www.loyalty.org/~schoen/ | -- Kathryn Myronuk http://vitanuova.loyalty.org/ | --------------------------------------- Received: (at 289-done) by bugs.lnx-bbc.org; 11 Oct 2003 21:45:00 +0000 >From [email protected] Sat Oct 11 14:45:00 2003 Received: from goose.movealong.org ([69.17.22.121] ident=postfix) by gargoyle.lnx-bbc.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 1A8RXn-00050H-00 for <[email protected]>; Sat, 11 Oct 2003 14:45:00 -0700 Received: by goose.movealong.org (Postfix, from userid 1001) id AF2D644221; Sat, 11 Oct 2003 16:44:57 -0500 (CDT) Date: Sat, 11 Oct 2003 16:44:57 -0500 From: Nate Riffe <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Too broad Message-ID: <[email protected]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline X-pw: reindeer flotilla User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.4i This bug was too broad to begin with, and has probably been mostly addressed (TEN MONTHS AGO).
