bug#158: free fonts possible

I have found a free font at this location claiming similar metrics
to 'clean' which hackedbox is asking after, and a perfectly pleasant
license in its tarball as far as I can tell.
Unless the shapes of 'clean' by schumacher are patented - if so, a
point which should be hotly debated as to whether it *can* be applied
since Ben Franklin clearly intended printers of any sort or skill
level to be able to purchase fonts (at the time he meant physical
letterblocks) without fear of being held over a barrel - anyways,
unless a patent encumbrance applies on the shape then this would be
grand.

I can merge it into my X setup and see if it suits English well for
general use; if so it's a good candidate.
........
unrelated to hackedbox, it's definitely possible to go ahead and let
X install the rest of its fonts as long as those small batch of
license files in the font directory go with them. Even the ttf can
go in, because apparently something else needed freetype; it's on
the plastic last time I looked. See also my bug labelled "X contains
multiple licenses."
