To: [email protected] From: [email protected] Subject: Turkish Package: keyboard Version: bbc-2003-02-10T07:07:05-0800.iso Hello, Needless to say that BBC is just wonderfull. But I came across a few problems. My version is bbc-2003-02-10T07:07:05-0800.iso First of all there is Turkish support problem. The turkish keyboard setting is there but I guess it is broken, as in most of the Linux versions (including Debian 3) so it does not print any turkish characters. Some keys even would not press (give any effect) I've came across the same problem with the Knoppix Live CD and sent the developer, Karl Knopper the turkishq-latin5 key package (which is attached) and we solved the problem. I hope it also helps you. And I have one little suggestion. BBC is just full of lots of wonderfull network utilities, almost everything one needs. But there is this wonderfull software, prtunnel http://joshbeam.com/software/prtunnel.html which is capable of tunneling any port over http and/or socks5 proxy. This is a very necessary utility for that it adds proxy support to any network utility, and it is so small that you can easily put it in the BBC. One other pretty good utility is lcrzo, http://www.laurentconstantin.com/en/lcrzo/ which is a real network swiss army knife with over 400 network functions put together. It is a hell of a utility and would be nice to have by. Though not as important as prtunnel. Thanks for all your efford. Sincerely KIVILCIM Hindistan Fazlamesai.net
