Mark is not terribly interested in having a licensing discussion, it seems, so that documentation will probably have to do and is surely good enough (i.e., Mark doesn't like wants it to be Free Software and doesn't want to spend time on it). --------------------------------------- Received: (at 297-done) by bugs.lnx-bbc.org; 21 Apr 2003 04:25:59 +0000 From [email protected] Sun Apr 20 21:25:59 2003 Received: from nick by gargoyle.lnx-bbc.org with local (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 197SsR-0005cq-00 for <[email protected]>; Sun, 20 Apr 2003 21:25:59 -0700 To: [email protected] Subject: Bug modified from CVS checkin Message-Id: <[email protected]> From: Nick Moffitt <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 21:25:59 -0700 Closes: 297 Bradley, I'm sorry I didn't close this one earlier, but we had already released so it wasn't quite so pressing. From the same web site you quoted, the hdparm lsm file says: Copying-policy: BSD License Cheers -- Mark Lord Real-Time Remedies Inc. [email protected] ... and that's good enough for me. We have received this code from Mark Lord under the terms of the BSD License (2-clause, most likely, since that's the "BSD License" as of the date he wrote that mail. I've updated the package to match.
