As I think the original bug report points out, it's purely a matter of
xaumix (which is a script) getting confused because we don't have real
rxvt.  xaumix just tries to run aumix in a terminal window, and it
passes an argument to rxvt which would be valid if we were using rxvt
but isn't because we're not.

Real aumix worked the last time I looked -- this problem is totally
unrelated to having sound work.
