Bug 333 mentions that users don't know how to choose higher
framebuffer resolutions than 1024x768, but some want to.  This
information could be useful in the boot screens.

There may be other hardware-compatibility information which it would
also be useful to convey.

Some users don't find the information about "prompt" sufficiently
prominent or useful in order to bypass hotplug or discover if those
programs load drivers which cause crashes on a particular system.
