X11 PS2 Mouse Problem

Found LNX about a fortnight ago, amazed at the bit torrent d/l speeds well 
done to the chap who thought of that.

When i boot the cd i run the GUI using startx and on two of my three 
machines at home the ps2 mouse doesnt work correctly. Have tried using the 
help but have got nowhere.

Anybody had this problem and got around it.
