Just wanted to update everyone on some boot-to-ram testing that's being done, but not commmitted. The issue that I'm trying to "fix" is that it takes more than twice the singularity size to boot to ram -- 128MB of ram on the system isn't enough to boot the latest HEAD images. The HEAD images are running ~ 64Mb. Instead of using busybox's "cp", I've tried using busybox's cat and dd to see if I could squeeze the singularity into ram, but neither seemed to lessen the fingerprint. On the other hand, I do have some "error recovery code" for when loading to ram fails; which prompts the user to continue to boot from the CD. It's in the queue for commit RSN.
