Hi, I've made the newer version of the bbc disk based on a somewhat older CVS snapshot. It has: megaraid2 (2.10.3) e1000 (4.4.19) tg3 (0.99) megaraid (1.18h) 3w-xxxx (1.02.00.25) 3w-9xxx (2.24.00.009fw) This has smp support, compiled for i686, highmem(4G). aic7xxx and symbios scsi drivers compiled on so you can boot from scsi cdroms. If you have 2 cdrom drives it gets confused which drive to mount the image from. This also has md compiled in for automatic md startup (if the raid still works). Problem is that it often mounts(ro) the separate raid 1 mirrors. Unmount those first before working on it. Raid 5/0/10 volumes won't automatically get mounted because the disk is not contigous. The 3w-xxxx driver is for the 6000 -> 8600 series cards. The 3w-9xxx driver is for the new 9500 series cards and includes a firmware uploader. No commandline tools included. It's the bottom option http://coltex.nl/files/megaraid.html Kind regards, Seth Mos _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] http://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq or search the list archives at http://lists.us.dell.com/htdig/
