For the archives...
I've finally found a solution to the keyboard
freezing problem. I don't know why it only
freezes on some systems and not on others, but
it actually has something to do with the USB
support I believe. I was searching google
again and found mention of a bios setting that
needed to be changed. There is a setting in the
bios for the HP Pavilion ze4125 for legacy USB
support. It must be disabled. I just finished
playing with the 2.0rc version I was linked to
a while back. The only problem I have now is
getting networking to work. I'll post that
question in a different message, though since it
has nothing to do with the keyboard :)

Thank you everyone who tried to help a long
time ago. I know I never posted the info from
the other distros that would boot, but I never
actually found the time when I thought I would.
(the times I did boot into them I didn't have
my floppy drive with me, since this doesn't come
with one. I have a usb one I use.)

Respectfully,
Stefan
