	It's more an issue of glibc 2.2 vs 2.3 than it is red hat vs
some other distro.  If anything, you should see a difference between
7.1 and 8.0 of Red Hat. 

	We see differences between debian testing and stable, even.
STABLE builds only on stable, and HEAD only on testing and later.
