But it won't. It's very handy for system maintenance, and you might well 
impress a 'doze user by fixing their bored 'doze box with the aid of a teensy 
Linux CD. However, if terms of impressing a desktop user, LNX-BBC just isn't 
going to do it because its windowing environment isn't polished enough. It's 
pointless telling them that this a really nice cake, but you just don't have 
very nice icing on it at the moment. If you're trying to impress somebody who 
isn't a baker with a cake, best have nice icing on it.

P.S. I know it's a DREADFUL analogy. If the cake is so nice, why can't I just 
taste it ? Well, it's a special kind of cake. It tastes as nice as the other 
one, but it's much lower in fat and harmful additives. I tried to come up 
with a medical analogy but look where the cake one went . . .
