I'm sorry to point out that to most british people, this is backwards.. it
is EUROPE who lies by the cost of england..

Churchill said something along the line of:
"Storm on the Channel, Continent isolated."
(and corrent me if i'm wrong, that's a double translation..)

incidentally, that seems to sum up pretty nicely the mentality on that
side of the channel :o)
